MATIKA is a home for Myanmar's art, culture, and contemporary life. We gather writers, artists, filmmakers, and broadcasters in one place, so their work is easy to find and a pleasure to spend time with.
The name comes from မာတိကာ, the Burmese word for a table of contents: an index of the stories, ideas, and voices worth coming back to.
